TTR61  Show report Warley 2005 

The biggest show in the UK with the most cosmopolitan entry! From Dewsbury in the Midlands a 4mm scale layout that just oozes 1960s atmosphere, Mostyn - fine scale 4mm gauge in North Wales, Abbey Road - the London Underground, Midsomer Norton live steam Gauge 1.  Gifford Street 7mm, Johnstown and many more! From the USA  three great layouts:  San Andreas Beach from Garth Ponsonby and Geoff Bishop, Nevada from the Warley Club and Kansas Grain from Chris Wild. Still on the other side of the pond how about Cuba in 0n30?  The continent was well represented: Perrapswill from Dave Howsam and Oberfriedhof from - well Barrow in Furness actually! both mainline Swiss prototypes in 4mm gauge.  The premier British show attracted some great trade stands, perhaps the best were from Hornby - with live steam on the move, and Fleischmann - two foot of snow in Fleischmann land!  Plenty to get your modelling teeth into!
