Welcome to Model Rail Scotland 2007 from the SECC Glasgow. The premier model rail show north of the border fast becoming established as part of the European circus. As always in just 60 mins we can only cherry pick so we feature: Farkham – 1990 Speed-Link in 4mm scale, Bardowie- ex Caledonian 1960s – just feel the ambience and hear the locomotives. Shadbolts Lock - a sunny afternoon in 1958. Petershausen- 3.5mm HO from Holland. The trick here is to find as many of the hidden surprises as you can! Moorcock Junction -‘Milk to London” in 2mm gauge. Selah (Fruit Row) -American HO- the small but perfectly formed Yakima Valley Transportation Co running trains in 1980. (see cover picture) Stump City – an old favourite in HO. Widnes Vine Yard - hi-tech modern image in 4mm with working signalling and computer controlled dispatch. Katami Mitsu- (from Yorkshire) n gauge in Japan – with snow! - a personal favourite. Law Junction -2mm scale, an incredibly real interpretation of a section of West Coast Main Line as it enters Scotland. Gala Water- atmospheric 2mm gauge between Edinburgh and Carlisle. Ravensmead- O gauge from Aberdeen – where you play being a container crane operator. Garnock- 7mm from Ayr. Hadley Green- 4mm 1950s. Castle Toward -UK outline 3.5mm.
